Equine Portraiture

Horses are one of my favourite subjects for portraiture. Their eyes hold so much soul and there is so much detail to get into in their short fur.

I draw by hand using the highest quality lightfast coloured pencils on Pastelmat paper (a thick archival pastel paper) to achieve a high level of detail and longevity. Professional mounting, framing and engraved gold or silver plaques available.

Horses can be drawn with or without their bridles. All I need are a few of your favourite photos of your horse, then leave it with me!

You'll be sent some rough 'mockups' before any work on the portrait is begun, to ensure the design and composition are perfect for you and your horse.

A 20% deposit of the total amount is taken to secure your booking slot. Current wait list time is 2-3 months.
